Cyclocross Updates

We have had a great cyclocross season up to this point and have been busy enough that we haven’t added any updates since the season started.

The team is doing great in the Kansas Best Cyclocross Team Series. We are currently sitting 3rd in the men’s category standings

Erik Riker has been killing it at the cross races this year. He has scored 9 podiums with two wins and 3 additional top-10 finishes. This puts him in 3rd place in the current KBCXR Series. He took 4th at the KS State Championships this weekend as well. He has earned a category 3 upgrade and will be upgrading as soon as the 360 Series is over, which he is leading.

Doug Stone is a new member of Prologue Racing this year. He has jumped onto the team and has been putting in some amazing efforts. He started the season racing masters but quickly jumped into the 1/2 races and has been placing well. He has 5 podiums, 2 wins, and 12 top-10 finishes. This weekend, he raced the 1/2 race at the KS State Championships and took a solid 6th against a very tough field.

Mark DeBoer is taking some much needed time off after an extremely long and successful  2017 season, but not before jumping in a few early season cross races. Mark managed 7 top-10 finishes including 3 podiums before jumping off the bike for a few weeks for some recovery.

Andrew Voth, a new team member spent some time this fall racing at Collegiate Nationals on the MTB side of things. Great job to Andrew!

Tony Sherman has been out racing on the cross circuit as well. He has had some great finishes at the races he has been able to attend. He did well at Jingle Cross as well despite muddy conditions causing chain issues about 10 times during the race!

Barclay Berberian and James Fox have both been out racing this season as well. They are doing great and are having plenty of fun out at the races.

There is a little over a month left in the season. There is still plenty of racing left!
